Ocean Infinity Resumes Hunt for MH370 in Remote Indian Ocean

Why This Matters?

MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014, during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, and despite extensive searches over the years, the main wreckage and flight recorders have never been located.

Only scattered debris confirmed or suspected to be from the aircraft has washed ashore over the years on islands and coasts around the western Indian Ocean.

New Technology & Hope

The current effort employs modern sonar mapping technologies and deep-sea drones designed to explore rugged, deep seafloor terrain that previous searches could not fully cover.

Families of the passengers and crew have renewed hopes that this search might finally provide answers or closure after more than a decade of uncertainty.
