ONE Henry Hudson Cargo Operations Resume at Port of Los Angeles After Fire

Operations Restart After Major Fire

After weeks of recovery work, cargo discharge operations have resumed at the Port of Los Angeles aboard the fire-damaged container ship ONE Henry Hudson.

Ocean Network Express (ONE) says remaining containers will begin being unloaded this week from the vessel now docked at Yusen Terminal (YTI).

Why It Matters?

The resumption of cargo operations marks a key recovery milestone after what officials described as one of the most technically complex salvage efforts in recent history at the Port of Los Angeles — the busiest U.S. west-coast port.

Yusen Terminal and port authorities are coordinating inspections and safety checks as operations ramp up. Containers discharged will be sorted and released following GA security and salvage procedures.
