The Italian Coast Guard successfully rescued the cargo ship Master Nasser after it suffered a complete power failure and began drifting toward the Tuscan coastline near Viareggio.
The 80-meter Comoros-flagged vessel, en route from La Spezia to Durazzo, lost all propulsion and onboard systems, leaving the crew unable to control its drift in a dangerous area off Italy’s western coast.
